| Are your beliefs limiting your business growth? |
This is the first of our monthly newsletters, 'Catch of the day', giving useful free marketing advice to help you beat the recession and build your business - the things you can easily adapt and do for yourself. In addition to what's included here, there are lots more tips on our website ... and if there's anything specific you'd like included, do let us know. You can even comment on the articles and ideas too by joining our online blog - we'd love to hear your ideas and real-world experience.
Business at the moment is a bit like being on board ship during a storm. Some business people are abandoning ship. Others are battening down the hatches and weathering the storm. And others are 'all hands on deck' determined to make progress despite the difficult conditions. Your decisions will depend on your mindset; if you honestly believe there is nothing you can do in your business that could make any difference, then that is probably true. On the other hand, if you believe that the effort you make can create a different outcome ... welcome to the world of proactive marketing! As Denis Waitley once famously said, "If you believe you can, you probably can. If you believe you won't, you most assuredly won't." ...
In particular at this time of the year, don't fall into the trap that thinking that it's too late to work on building your business. November and December offer lots of opportunities - especially as your competitiors often give up!
Please do pass this email on to anyone who you think might be interested in our marketing ideas - see link at the top of this email. Alternatively, get them to sign up for regular updates here>>
Best wishes, Vanessa Lanham
